No less than 14 individuals have been killed and 26 others injured in rain-related incidents in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province within the final 24 hours, the officers stated on Thursday.
The Provincial Disasters Administration Authority (PDMA) stated that incessant monsoon rain caught varied components of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and inundated low mendacity areas within the province’s Dera Ismail Khan, Hazara and Malakand divisions and resulted within the full injury of 4 homes and partial injury of 21 others.
“Homes have been broken because of the steady monsoon rain that struck Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ensuing within the dying of 14 individuals and accidents to 26 others within the final sooner or later,” a senior official from the PDMA stated.
The respective district administrations within the province have equipped aid and rescue actions in areas affected by the monsoon rains and issued obligatory journey advisory for the vacationers, the official stated.
