If press freedom is in a nasty state, it isn’t essentially because of the politicians, the Romanian provider of Deutsche Welle argues:

“In Romania the better risk is complacency and highbrow laziness. … The the most important questions are ceaselessly no longer requested at press meetings, and more and more political statements are taken without any consideration with out being filtered or positioned in a bigger context. … General, the standard of journalistic paintings is declining. No longer handiest since the superficiality of many that practise the career has greater to the similar level as their moral sense has decreased, but in addition as a result of many skilled newshounds have switched to better-paid jobs.”
